After 3 years in development and a few delays, the MaxKVM control panel is finally scheduled to launch next week -- on Monday, 10/16/23.
The new control panel features new plans, billing, networking, statistics, security, diagnostics, backups, and monitoring tools along with private cloud functionality for larger accounts and resellers.
An open source version of the control panel is planned for release after some review and there's a good chance a different open source project may be announced soon.
Infrastructure was completely redesigned with new hardware over the past few weeks, and these new machines consistently provide a 30-40% performance boost per CPU core and 100% increase in storage read/write IOPs.
All VMs will be migrated to these new systems on Monday, and there will only be a few minutes of downtime per system as data is transferred and VMs are rebooted on the new hosts.
Until then, software has been adapted from the new control panel to make the ACX series available today:
